About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze trends in accounts receivable balances or significant changes in payment patterns and summarize major collection problems for bi-monthly credit meetings.

  • Ensure that all transfers to City Ledger through the Income Auditor align with clearance accounts and complete divisional results in a timely manner according to the defined reporting timetable.

  • Ensure compliance with Group Policies and Procedures, reporting any non-compliant exceptions.

  • Conduct regular stock counts and adjust underlying accounts based on the results within

month of

completion.

  • Report any discrepancies to the income auditor on a daily basis

  • Tax Compliance: You will ensure that the resort complies with all local tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and paying taxes on time.

  • Perform other tasks assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Opera.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Experience in the Maldives resort industry is preferred but not required.
