About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Analyze trends in accounts receivable balances or significant changes in payment patterns and summarize major collection problems for bi-monthly credit meetings.
Ensure that all transfers to City Ledger through the Income Auditor align with clearance accounts and complete divisional results in a timely manner according to the defined reporting timetable.
Ensure compliance with Group Policies and Procedures, reporting any non-compliant exceptions.
Conduct regular stock counts and adjust underlying accounts based on the results within
month of
completion.
Report any discrepancies to the income auditor on a daily basis
Tax Compliance: You will ensure that the resort complies with all local tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and paying taxes on time.
Perform other tasks assigned from time to time by the Management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Opera.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Experience in the Maldives resort industry is preferred but not required.
