About the Role

Constance Ephelia, our luxury resort destination in Seychelles, is seeking a Guest Relations Officer with fluent Italian/German languages skills to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our Italian and German -speaking guests, ensuring exceptional service delivery and creating memorable experiences throughout their stay. You will work collaboratively with various departments to address guest needs, resolve concerns, and maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction that define our organisation.

  • Greet and welcome Italian-speaking guests upon arrival, providing comprehensive information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Italian/German-speaking guests and resort departments, ensuring seamless communication and swift resolution of requests

  • Address guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, implementing appropriate solutions to ensure satisfaction

  • Maintain detailed guest profiles and preferences to personalise future interactions and enhance the guest experience

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage, activities, and maintenance teams to fulfil guest requests promptly

  • Manage guest relations enquiries via telephone, email, and in-person interactions with courtesy and efficiency

  • Assist with special requests, event arrangements, and bespoke experiences for guests, maintaining accurate records using the property management system

  • Share feedback and suggestions with management to contribute to continuous improvement of guest services


Qualifications

  • Fluent Italian andGerman language skills (written and spoken); English proficiency is essential

  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related hospitality field

  • Proven experience in guest relations, customer service, or hospitality roles within a resort or hotel environment, preferably in luxury operations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests and remain calm and professional in challenging situations

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution experience

  • Proficiency with property management systems, booking platforms, and Microsoft Office applications

  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to international guests' needs, with knowledge of Italian, Russian, and German travel preferences

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
